It's Friday....so it must be Garrucha market!

Friday's here mostly see us taking a visit to Garrucha market. We like this market as they always have a wonderful display of fruit and vegetables that are sight to behold. The displays are colourful and a feast for the eyes.

Also we ALWAYS visit Ana's for our Churros and Spanish hot chocolate fix! Her chocolate drink is THE best in the area ( in my opinion!)

Another reason that I enjoy this market is that there is a very pleasant Spanish gentleman who runs a yarn and fabric stall...I have bought various amounts of yarn from him and always enjoy the challenge of conversing with him in my broken (very broken!) Spanish!

We then strolled through the back streets and back along the Paseo Maritime admiring the breaking waves as we went.

Photos taken of my latest creation, a garter stitch sweater knitted from the Lion Brand website, a free pattern titled Easy Classic Top pattern number 70475AD.

The sun was shining and it was getting quite warm by the time we got back to the car. We decided to park someway from the car to give us a little exercise. So after 75 mins of moderate paced walking, and 431 calories burnt ( info gleaned from my MyFitnessPal app!) we headed home.

Happy Days!
